Just a day after the anniversary of the 1911 Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire, a roundtable discussion on labor, activism, and gender with Author Annelise Orleck, Barnard Professor of History Premilla Nadesen, Mahoma Lopez Garfias (Laundry Workers Center), and Christine Yvette Lewis (Domestic Workers United), moderated by Alice Kessler-Harris.

Co-Sponsored by the Center for the Study of Social Difference, Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies at Barnard, the Center for the Study of Ethnicity and Race, the Heyman Center for the Humanities, and the Society of Fellows.
