Denise Cruz, Associate Professor of English and Comparative Literature and an affiliate faculty member with the Institute, is one of the recipients of the 2021 Presidential Award for Outstanding Teaching. The award is given to faculty and graduate student instructors who have significantly influenced the intellectual development of Columbia students.
