On Monday, April 5, 2021 IRWGS co-sponsored a discussion of Radicalizing Her: Why Women Choose Violence with author Dr. Nimmi Gowrinathan (CUNY). Dipali Mukhodpadhyay (University of Minnesota) served as the respondent, and Lila Abu-Lughod (IRWGS/Anthropology) served as the moderator.
The talk was hosted by the Colin Powell School of Civil and Global Leadership at the City College of New York, who recorded the webinar, and co-sponsored by IRWGS and the South Asia Institute at Columbia University.
